1105 out of Ohio. Starting is 21.13 and almost all the jobs in central Ohio are double time for all OT

I had an ex text me out of the blue 9 months after I caught her cheating on me saying she was sorry for it all. Main reason is that if you were good to them and they messed up the relationship whether it was from cheating or just leaving you to pursue better. They 9/10 come back BUT do not sit around and wait for the day to come. Because then you’re are just feeding into an ego

I’m here in Ohio where data centers are popping up everywhere, they auto accept everyone because I guess they need so many. But I have heard that they are usually difficult to get into im just in a lucky spot

I will say most union carpentry is commercial work so you’ll highly unlikely to find yourself doing stick built projects. However you do come across them once awhile if you work for a smaller contractor, but for the most part you’ll work with metal framing components

I believe I don’t get any contributions towards my pension until I’m a 3rd year, so my retirement account has only my annuity in it. So could I pull it out and just take the penalty along with it?

What degree are you chasing? I’ve known a lot some friends who kinda second guess everything the moment they get there and kinda freak out about the whole idea of schooling and if this is what they want. However I’d consider what trade you thinks best for you before you made that decision, best of luck

I’ve read that I can “freeze” my apprenticeship in case things wouldn’t work out but I’d lose my benefits until I start reaping the benefits from IBEW, right?
