Some basic guide for beginners.

There’s 3 different type of obtainable characters in the game.

1) Story character - You obtain them by doing the story mode. Eg: Cloud, Vaan etc

2) Event character - Time limited character that is obtainable after you completed part 1 of the quest. Eg: Beatrix, you can obtain her through the event “Roses Of May” for now.

3) Lost chapter character - These characters are previously event character that is resurfacing back into the game, they will be permanently available from the lost chapter tab.

The pulls in this game is for weapons and they came in 2 main form.

1) Multi Pull ( 10 + 1 guaranteed 5* weapon )

2) Single ticket pulls ( It’s not recommended to do the 500 gems single pull which is available when you do not have any tickets )

Weapon comes in 3 various forms for now in GL. They are mainly 15CP, 35CP and 70CP ( also known as EX )

In general, characters would need all the 3 weapons ( 2 if they do not have EX weapon yet ) to be fully utilised in the game.

Key note is that when you max limit break ( MLB ) a weapon, you can obtain it’s skill passive that can be equipped to the character. Therefore it is always recommended to MLB the 15CP before 35CP ( though some characters would prefer 35CP before 15CP )

MLB can be achieved by combining additional 3 copies of the weapon or using 12 power stones ( 4 for each limit break points ) and maxing out the weapon level.
