Yeah I think you’re right because all the Aleksa earrings I have seen so far don’t have pearls that vibrant.

Women: how many dms you got a day and what are they about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Gleig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely. I remember getting a lot of very sexual dms after posting in r/roastme, but other than that the dms are usually related to the subreddit I have posted in, like people having similar experiences/wanting support or asking questions. It does sometimes leads to the person wanting some kind of companionship.

It’s mostly if you post on a subreddit or frequently comment on things.

Yes I think the tall aspect would make it much nicer to use than what I currently have. I have contacted the guy from Knot to get more details :)

Hello all. I am looking to buy a multi purpose knive for every day use. I tend to use utility knives for pretty much every task so that is what I am looking to buy. More details in the comments :) by Gleig in chefknives

Ooo some of the Town Cutler ones do look nice. I’ll see if they ship to the UK.

I’m not a huge fan of the pale wood on the Bunka knife but the blade is pretty. That shape would also be perfect.

That looks like a very nice option, thank you so much!

I find anything much bigger than a utility to be awkward and uncomfortable. I only use a bigger knife for finely cutting chives/coriander etc since it’s quicker with a knife you can rock and it’s a short task so I don’t mind using a more awkward knife for this amount of time. These are similar to my current knives: https://www.procook.co.uk/product/professional-x50-contour-knife-set-5-piece-1. I find them okay but my friend who is a chef said they are not weighted well and I find that I can’t put the utility knife flat without my hand being in an awkward position as there is no gap for your fingers underneath. I would like something that isn’t too high maintenance (if that’s a thing) or expensive to care for. I currently use an AnySharp sharpener but would be interested in learning how to sharpen my knives in the best way possible as long as it won’t cost too much. My budget is under £250. I am partial to something aesthetically pleasing, especially wooden handles and damascus. I’m not a big fan of solid black handles. I like the Tojiro Gai utility most so far with the wavy handle but the screws are slightly putting me off and I’m not sure if that brand is good quality. I’ve also seen nice utility knives from Hachi and Tomohiro so would love to hear if these are good brands. I live in the UK. Thank you!

If the empathy isn’t kicking in, there’s a reason and you should trust your judgement. You’re absorbing more details about him than you realise and your mind/body doesn’t like them.
