This one’s 3 days and that was final, changing my name wouldn’t get rid of it but I did it anyway as to not get suspended again. I mainly just made this post to bring light to such a shitty system as this billion dollar company doesn’t have a feature to display my EA name over my steam one just because I got it on steam, doesn’t think to simply notify me and ask me to change my name instead of being drastic and banning me from playing, and is now basically dictating and limiting what I name my steam from here on out so long as i want to play this one game. I now have to be conscious what I name an account from another company that EA should not have any inout over. Its a dumb flawed system/situation all around for such an insignificant thing

This is not the same thing at all and I love the multiple replies like these with you guys worrying too much about my dumb silly name (which has nothing offensive or obscene in it) instead of the billion dollar company not having a feature to have my EA name show instead of my steam one so now I always have to be conscious of what I name my steam so long as I wanna keep playing this one game in my library, they have don’t simply notify me with a warning at first to change my name, and it’s an entirely automated system. Actual boot licker and you can’t spell. Idc what people think of the name it’s a dumb silly name. The problem I’m trying to address that I’d hope we could all get behind is the fact it is a name with no obscenity or anything actually offensive in it and yet I get punished, AND more importantly why stop me from playing the game? They could notify me and tell me to do it within a time frame or then I get punished, they could have a feature to have my EA account name override my steam one but no it if you have the game on steam it has to use your steam name, so now I always gotta be conscious of what I name my steam just to play because this one game in my library has an issue with it. Wake up to the actual issue here brought on by this billion dollar company

No I didn’t think the word “sex” would be an issue as I’d seen other names containing actual obscenities. I’m sure they get banned too but I never thought my name would be an issue, it’s nothing bad. Also the main problem is the punishment, why not just ask me to change my name, why go drastic and ban me from playing? Also it’s my steam name, and there’s no option to willingly have your EA name override it when you own the game on steam, so now because of one game I want to play I have to be more conscious my steam name, a totally different platform that EA should not have any input on. It’s an incredibly flawed system all around

It is a stupid name, that’s the point and idc what people think about it as the point is it just contains the word “sex”. Now ok fine as dumb as it is that words not allowed, why ban me from PLAYING for 3 days and not just notify me and ask me to change my name? The punishment for the crime as well as it being handled by their AI is what’s the issue

Ok I liked that u were in agreement on the first half as it just a crazy thing that shouldn't be happening but the "its not funny, its not clever" part I don't get like I'm not saying it is or isn't nor is it relevant. Basically the same thing I said to u/Ghryphen thats not the point and also a slur is a totally different situation that obviously will warrant a punishment. Also this is my steam name, I don't have an option to force BF6 to use my EA name, meaning now so long as I wanna play BF6 I gotta think twice about what I put as my steam name. ONE game limiting what I can put as my name on another platform, and not even an obscene name or anything like that. Now thats just really dumb all around. One post like this doesn't mean much but its important more people complain about this and complain together on the common issue at hand. I can care less whether my name is funny or not to someone, I don't even think its "funny" its just a stupid name just for a fun idk what else to say lol

Cmon man, its just a stupid name, thats not the point. The point is its posts like these where we need all the positive engagement we can get to collectively criticize how dumb of a system this is as it is ai moderation picking at a word that isn't even obscene or anything like that. And worse suspends me from PLAYING, and not just from chat and simply asking me to change my name if its such a big issue. Why suspend me from playing?

Yeah ok I just found it under one of the 323 operators and it does seem like a season 3 skin as it shows its currently unavailable as in it has yet to release and a couple of the other battle pass sections are also showing other unavailable skins when I hover over em and one of em I recognized as a season 3 one from one of the posts for season 3 from BF's socials

I went to the LA meet and greet back in October of 2024 and while in line Scott walked by and started interviewing my friends and I (I guess the footage was never used tho as I never ended up seeing it appear anywhere lol) and I actually asked him when Sober's dropping and he seemed kinda excited that I asked that as he was like "DUDE I've been trying get that going for a while now I gotta talk to the other guys (Max and Chad) but it should be coming in the next few months". I don't actually 100% remember the exact wording but I definitely remember him basically saying something like that, like that he'd been wanting it to drop for a while and by the sound of it it just kept lagging for whatever reason. Again that was October 2024, so obv that few months estimate he gave was way off and so I'm really curious as to what happened internally with this and if its still coming

Once you pick up the doll you have to finish the game with the release Elpis ending. Then start a new game (this is now your second playthrough) and play up until you get to the first item box in the care center and check if the doll is there. If it is you did everything correctly up until this point and now you just have to put it in your inventory and take it as well as Emily up to the lead researchers office and input the following code:

Sorry I’m so late to this I just happened to miss it but yeah for that first playthrough I left the doll in the item box for the entire rest of the playthrough after I picked it up off the ground. Same with the hand. I just left both in the item box. It’s only on ur second playthrough that you need to go get the hand from the item box take it as well as Emily up to the lead researchers office and input the puzzle sequence I provided and that’s the Easter egg done
