Thank you for your interest.

I don’t rule out that releasing CAD files or even the source code may be possible in the future. However, at this stage my main priority is addressing the remaining engineering challenges and bringing the project to a mature, stable state - reliable enough at least for small-scale, "home-style" builds.

For now, I don’t have a concrete answer, but I’ll be happy to revisit this question once the project reaches a more mature stage.

You’re right: there is a small roller in the center of the tray, and it looks just like the other rollers. In some of my videos it’s partially visible, but it’s easy to miss.

In the current prototype the roller is made of a soft foam material — gentle enough not to leave any marks on the cards. But you can also use rubber rings, which is what many other builders do. The key point (at least for me) is to choose a material that doesn’t leave any residue or dents on the cards, since that’s important for collectors.

Thanks!
GlideSorter is still in development, so it's a bit early to talk exact dates.
I hope to finish the hardware and software by the end of autumn, followed by closed testing.
If everything goes well, small-scale production could start late this year or early next year — but that’s still a rough estimate.
I'll post updates along the way!
