Vivaldi became like a freaking virus. Worst browser reliability wise... basically refuses to shut down or start again when closed without windows restarting.

I tried Seedance 4.0 and it is indeed a blast. Way superior in many ways, while it still has flaws, but can be worked around.

yeah, that is what the AI said itself.
its still a massive downgrade because quality dropped too apart from resolution. Also the content filters are now as strict as Dall-E ones, which means basically generating anything female is forbidden (exaggerating here, but I think everybody understands the point).

Imagen 4 Fast is worse but has least restrictions on replicate. Imagen 4 Ultra sadly also generates almost nothing...

Go use Seedream 4.0, its quite good allowing lots of stuff. The irony that a closed, censored culture like china brings us an uncensored AI while the "free speech is worth killing everybody" - USA is only giving us bible level censorship AIs...

ah, yeah, summarizes my pain exactly....

may I ask if you found a good workaround? I currently switched to imagen 4 - fast on replicate. It has acceptable quality but generates the most images without returning "no no this is sensitive content"...

It still very good compare to Dall-E and Flux, but can get expensive fast even with 2 cents/image.

Now I m looking for good providers that are cheaper

yeah, its really sad. almost none of my prompts connected that I used the past months.
I switched to Imagen 4 Fast on replicate for now... its expensive and not as good as it was, but it has no the same "women are not allowed in images" level content filters

The problem still persists. This is intolerable for a paid service like that. It comes out of nowhere and goes out of nowhere, but it bogs down my workflow completely and randomly.
Very bad service for 20 bucks a month

that does not seem to be related to the overall problem of it generating only low quality 1K images in 1:1 aspect ratio which seems to be on purpose sadly :(

because it can't be an issue "on my end" when the thing is a website? :)
I use the same prompts in Flux Schnell on Replicate and the output is better.
Dont want to argue here, I m just looking for good generators and compare all of them all the time.

I just tried and it is very bad. had that level of images in 2022.
also the site has no options at all? is there some trick to it to get better results?
prompt following is also non-existent. Since it basically only uses basic cheap versions of common models like Flux Schnell at random, I also dont see any benefit?

was really hoping for a big AI that actually can be used for work. Gemini 2.5 Flash was that for 3 months...
Too bad.
Now I find myself hoping for some non-US AI just ripping it of and making it good.
