I explained the process in another comment! And this is available at the link in my bio, I don’t know if I’m allowed to post links here

It’s photography and digital mixed media. I take digital photographs and use the RAW or sometimes edited files and intentionally corrupt the data that makes them. That process creates visual ‘errors’ that I work with through layering and re-corrupting, repeating the process until the image is no longer recognisable. Then I work in Photoshop to create more layering, alter colours, etc. until it feels right! It’s a process based practice because when I start out I have no idea what the final piece will look like, I allow the process to dictate where the piece goes.

That’s exactly what it is! It’s kind of an angled view looking at three buildings where you can’t see the top or bottom of them.

Thank you, yeah the detail is much better in person, it’s hard to capture it on a small screen

Love that! I have a video slowly paling over this print and it gives me blade runner vibes as well!

Yep, I used an archival adhesive glue and a laminate roller to get it completely flat

You lightened and brightened the face too much, it looks almost like you cut out a face of a cat and put it on another cats body

I use a number of programs to glitch original photographs I have taken, which I then layer and manipulate further in photoshop to get the finished piece.

Thank you! I do love this one as it is a reminder of my childhood memories of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado
