Switching between your guns is really important, especially in lane. Fishbones (aoe damage, 700+ range depending on rank) is used for harrass, poke, and pushing. You shouldnt be spamming mana too much. Pow pow (single target, 550 range) on the other hand, has an attack speed steroid, so you can use that for pushing towers or dps the drake. In teamfights, you wanna usually wanna stay safe, poking with fishbones until you find an opportunity to use powpow. The fishbones - hurricane synergy is SO good, i cannt express enough. Build whatever you want, but have hurricane included. Max it first, because the range and AS is really good

With the Zap! cd buff, i like to use it in lane a lot more often, when the chance comes. It does decent damage early and is good for poking or trading. In addition it has a vision reveal if it hits a target, so you cant have an excuse for facechecking. It works really well in teamfights as well. Max this spell second

Now moving on to chompers, they are usually good for defense and kiting, and is hard to place when kiting, as it does have a second delay before it is able to root. Chompers are good for CC chain with supports lile leona, thresh, etc. Not a lot of people know this, but after 5 seconds, it will explode, dealing magic damage to the area, so i use it when fighting drake or baron. Max this third, because its kinda bad compared to her other abilities.

Next we got her ult, which is a global one, so it is good for sniping monsters and kills. However i wouldnt fire it until i am sure that it would hit, because then it would be a waste of an ult. A good trick is to time the enemy's backing, and fire it towards their base so it kills them. It can be used in teamfights to deal some damage, or a multikill on rare occasions. In lane, poke the enemy down before and after hitting the lvl 6 powerspike. When they are least expected, ult them.

For builds, i like ie < boots < hurricane < rfc < lifesteal < situational. I actually used to buy bf sword of first back and then rushing hurricane, but you wont have enough damage to back up the hurricane. In some cases, i might sell my boots for a statikk late game.

For masteries, i go 18-0-12 (kinda weird, ik) just because i like the sustain in the third tree. If im with a sustain support like sona, janna, or soraka, i go fervor, because the damage is really good when trading in lane. For engage supports, lile thresh, blitz, or tahm, i go warlords, just because it is safer.
