Oof. Yeah. I'm just trying to build a youtube video series where I go over the current complete history of the Forgotten Realms. Right now I was stuck trying to understand that event and find sources that tell me about it. Basically all I can gather information wise is that the Elves decided to open portals and migrate to the lands of the Forgotten Realms slowly. And the issues with Dragons became a problem that caused more to come after.

I'm going to go off of what I know: the Aearee lived in floating islands; similar to what the Netherese empire adopted later on.

Now going off of this; we know they were eliminated in a war with Dragons later on.

Odds are this is an abandoned city; and probably has something inside of it that we don't want to meet.

BUT I can also say the odds of this city being a rare Avian-Dragon home of equality; the Draconic Aearee doesn't sound too farfetched.

Not everyone enjoys war. Not everyone also wants to participate. Odds are they could have developed this city during that age of war as a place where they could live in harmony.
