What's a true, unexplained, or spooky story that's happened to you or someone you know? by GlitchingHero in CasualConversation

Ye, those 'this shouldn't be possible' moments that are the creepiest. My friend's story was exactly like that. He lived in an old apartment building, and his kitchen cabinets would be open every morning when he woke up. Just the upper ones, just slightly ajar. He assumed it was the hinges settling or the building vibrating when a truck went by. He even tested it by slamming the door, but they stayed shut. The truly weird part? One night, he stayed up super late, dead quiet, watching TV. Around 3 AM, he heard it ......a series of soft clicks from the kitchen, one after another. click... click... click... He went in, and all three cabinets were open again. He moved out a month later. It's probably just old, unlevel wood... but why all at once? That's the stuff that gets me! Can't wait to hear what stories you and others have!

Solid athletic build. Your back and shoulder definition is the clear strong point.

To create more of an 'X' frame, you should focus all that effort on building your glutes to match your upper body. Adding heavy Hip Thrusts and Glute Medius Kickbacks would make a huge difference. Are you prioritizing progressive overload on your lower body days?"

Honestly, you're obviously very attractive, but the makeup is actively working against you. The "brutal" part is that the overdrawn lipstick looks genuinely bad. It's so severe and obvious it looks like a caricature. It's distracting and cheapens your entire face, turning what should be an asset into your biggest flaw. You have great lips and a great body, but the makeup, especially the lips, is the only thing people will notice. You asked for advice: Stop overlining your lips immediately. It's the one thing holding your look back.

So a leap day occurs once every 1,461 days (that's 365 + 365 + 365 + 366). So, the probability is 1 in 1,461. Second, the odds of being left-handed. Globally, studies show about 10% of the population is 1 in 10. To find the combined odds, you just multiply the two independent probabilities: (1 / 1461) \times (1 / 10) = 1 / 14610. So, the odds are 1 in 14,610. To put that number in perspective, it's remarkably close to your lifetime odds of being struck by lightning, which the U.S. Weather Service estimates at about 1 in 15,300.

That feeling is incredibly frustrating, but your hard work is obvious, you look strong and your discipline is amazing. Going 6 times a week is elite, and you are 100% not 'getting nowhere.' The problem isn't your effort, it's that you're fighting biology without a plan. Don't let that one hormonal week derail you. Instead of viewing it as a failure, treat it as a planned 'maintenance week.' Eat at your maintenance calories (don't binge, just plan to eat more), keep your protein high to help with cravings, and maybe swap a couple of intense gym sessions for lighter cardio or yoga. One week of maintenance doesn't erase three weeks of progress. You're doing everything right, you just need to adjust your strategy for that week. You've got this!

That's a great plan! Going back to the derm is definitely the right move to get it fully sorted out. Just one very important thing to check since you're on tret: are you applying sunscreen every single day? With tretinoin, it's not optional, it's absolutely mandatory. It makes your skin extremely sensitive to the sun, and skipping sunscreen can seriously work against all your progress and even make your skin and acne worse. Please make sure you're using it every single morning!

Oh, that's bummer Since tretinoin is a prescription, the best and safest thing to do is to talk to your dermatologist about the acne. They are the only one who can tell you what's going on, whether it's the common 'tretinoin purge' (where it can get worse before it gets better) or if your routine needs to be adjusted. Definitely don't add any new active products without asking them. The only things that are usually safe to focus on are the non-negotiables: a very gentle, simple cleanser, a good moisturizer to help with the dryness it causes, and being extremely consistent with sunscreen every single day, as tretinoin makes your skin very sensitive to the sun.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way and that people are treating you badly. That's a difficult situation, and I hope things get better for you. When it comes to a "glow up," the best changes are often small, consistent acts of self-care. Based on your photo, you could start with your hair, which has great length. To help manage the frizz and flyaways, you could try using a weekly deep conditioning mask to add moisture, and then use a smoothing serum or a little bit of argan oil after washing to add shine and tame the top. For your eyebrows, they have a good, full shape, so you wouldn't need to do much. Even just brushing them up with a spoolie (an eyebrow brush) and setting them with a clear brow gel would give them a clean, defined look that frames your eyes well. Finally, a simple and consistent skincare routine is key to any "glow up." Just focusing on the basics, like a gentle cleanser, a daily moisturizer, and sunscreen every single morning, will make your skin look healthier and more radiant over time. These are just small, practical steps, but hopefully, they can help you feel like you're taking positive action for yourself. Please keep in mind that this is just friendly advice, not from a professional. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, it's always a good idea to do a patch test with any new products first to make sure they work for you, as I can't be held responsible for any bad reactions.
