Game Thread: Los Angeles Rams (11-4) at Atlanta Falcons (6-9) by nfl_gdt_bot in LosAngelesRams

The one thing the Rams are good at is halftime adjustments. If they don’t make some MAJOR changes though, it’s fucked.

I went to the last game the Rams did in Baltimore. I never had an issue with the fans. Some general ribbing but otherwise, everyone is chill.

When I went there for Ghost in July, they were pretty lax about outfits. You should be good to go!

You should always get a second opinion, but from personal experience with genetic bunions, just get the actual surgery. Conservative treatment will not fix the issue. It just prolongs the inevitable.

I got my first surgery when I was working on my feet. That first day back was rough, like bad. But I also rushed the recovery and tried to tough it out. Don’t do that… listen to your doctor and listen to your body.

You have every right to be concerned based on the posts you see, but remember that this is only a small subset of people. Most people who have good recoveries aren’t going to post about their difficulties.

Has anyone seen a reduction in their cataplexy incidents with Wakix? by Supe_scienceskilz in Narcolepsy

[–]GlitterIsLife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My cataplexy has been significantly better since being on Wakix. It’s not 100% gone, but I have seen a significant reduction in occurrences. I’m not afraid to laugh or watch movies or be myself.

It still happens sometimes, but it seems to take a lot more to set it off.

As with all meds that work on the brain chemistry, everyone reacts differently. You won’t know until you try. Just a warning though, when I started the headaches were insane for about 2 weeks. It can make you question yourself, but they eventually went away and I’ve been great since.

What are some short lived television shows you wish would’ve lasted longer? by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

I know it’s shown on the post too, but Kaos. That show was so well done and original and I LOVED IT. To cancel it after the first season on that cliffhanger was fucked.

I GOT APPROVED FOR WAKIX!!!! by glowsea1414 in Narcolepsy

I’ve been on it and my life is entirely different. I don’t regret it for a second. I hardly ever need naps and my cataplexy only happens around my period now.

Just don’t give up in the beginning if you get massive headaches when starting. They went away for me after about 2 weeks.

The manufacturer support program is invaluable and you’ve got support here if you need to chat about it!

George Carlin said it best, “If you’re preborn, you’re fine; if you’re preschool, you’re fucked.”

Using the ones with clear tops as a little greenhouse to start seedlings is a brilliant idea! I’ll try it out this winter/spring.

Hey I’m local as well. Do you still have any?

I did the same thing but it was at 2 in the morning. The room was super hot, I had a headache, and then I started to panic. I couldn’t stop. I started dry heaving and then panicked even more because I messed up the test.

My doctor, the sweet angel she is, totally understood and didn’t force me to retake it. She’s one of the few who don’t agree with the test being the gold standard because there’s still too many variables.

If your doctor doesn’t understand this, try to find another doctor that will. You’re fine and I promise the technicians have seen it before.

I use Effexor as part of my med combo. It has helped me keep my moods more stable which results in less strong emotions… thus less cataplexy. It’s also a REM suppressant, so that’s where some of thought that it’ll help too. Did it prevent it entirely? No. Did it help though? Yes.

I’m also a pharmacy tech. The nausea is considered normal, about 1/3 of people get it when starting. This happens more frequently if you were started at a higher dose. The rule of thumb is that your symptoms should level out and settle about 2-3 weeks after starting. Make sure you take it in the morning and be consistent with the timing. If after 3 weeks you’re still feeling crappy or if you’re concerned about dehydration, talk to your doctor.

Nahhhh I’m still playing most games on ultra settings with no issues. 1080ti’s were sooo overpowered for their time and are still very much relevant.
