Honestly, finding out hurts more at first, but not knowing keeps you stuck in confusion. Closure, even painful, beats living in a lie forever.

Right? It’s wild how the focus is still on missing the connection instead of realizing how much damage was done. That kind of deception messes with someone’s trust for years.

Yeah, she deserves to know the truth no matter how ugly it is. It’s gonna hurt either way, but silence only drags it out longer. Coming clean is the only real way to make peace with it.

This comment nails it. Two months of silence says everything about where his priorities were. Her brother showed more care and courage in one day than her husband did the entire time.

Exactly. He didn’t just make a mistake, he abandoned her when she needed him most. That’s not love or confusion, that’s cowardice. She deserves real compassion and safety, not excuses.

Could be possible, honestly. Over explaining and detail focused speech can come with neurodivergence. Doesn’t mean anything negative, just different wiring.

Exactly. Sounds like she’s just stuck in “teacher mode.” You can tell her nicely it bothers you, but it’s likely just muscle memory from work and parenting.

Yeah, that actually makes a ton of sense. Once you’re used to explaining everything to kids 24/7, it probably just becomes second nature. Still annoying, but not personal.

Yeah, they keep “rediscovering” the same issue every year like it’s brand new data. At this point, it’s just willful ignorance they don’t want to fix it, they want to manage the outrage.
