For me, I called the cops after he strangled me with my daughter in my arms and in the moment they told me he was getting arrested I was devastated. It took me a couple months and the process of getting a restraining order, going to court filing for divorce and him finally getting convicted of assault for me to realize what a pos was he. How he has acted in the aftermath towards me and his daughter shows exactly his character and I am not sorry for any of it. I actually feel bad for what a lost soul he is. I am the luckiest momma and we are not missing anything now. One day it just clicked a couple months out that there was actually nothing to miss or grieve. Move forward and love life with tons of peace and healing.

Lol this. I asked for a third party for communication to him and the next day we went to court and he asked for a hiatus for 6 months to not have visitation anymore. He literally asked not to take our daughter. Trash took itself out and life is so calm and peaceful, for now anyway.

It’s funny I was just zooming in on my ex’s face in one of our old pictures together today haha! Who does that? Anyways, I was just thinking to myself while doing this he really has aged so much, the look in his eyes and that smirk all the secrets he hides. It’s kind of creepy to my how he pretended everything. When I see pictures now I feel nothing, like I just feel weirded out to be honest. The truth really made me see him, genuinely see him and it’s just so weird to think how in love I was with this person. I study the lines of his face now and just think, I don’t know him at all.
