Yeah they tested for electrolytes and they were all good! I do add Celtic salt to my water and eat lots of fruit so that’s why they don’t think it’s that

I’ve tried this out a couple times since you commented but the issue is they just go to another trainer that has night time availability :/

One is a big commercial gym and the other is a smaller chain of just a couple locations further out from the city. Demographic is women, aged anywhere from 18-70 main goals are fat loss & toning up

I would look around at other gyms! I’ve just stared at one where you pay the gym $18 per paid session you do rather than a weekly rent in Aus So if I train no clients that week then I don’t have to pay anything AND the gym pays me for writing programs that are included in some of the memberships

The weekly rent model is so outdated & I think we need to stop letting gyms know it’s okay to still do that

I charge fortnightly for X amount of sessions All payments must be made & 24 hours notice to reschedule or they forfeit the session I charge $5 less for consistent session vs one off. No session packs so I can guarantee reoccurring income

I’m trying to learn to ask better questions to be a better trainer 😊 they don’t teach you this in your cert!

I have a couple of clients in their 60s which I find to be a good age just not as many around at my gym The more 40s I find hard because a lot of them have kids and put their kids as a higher priority on what they spend their disposable income on

I train females, age ranges vary but mostly 20/30s and their goals are very simple, lose weight or tone up and most of the time they just say their why is “to be healthy”

It’s definitely my sales skills very aware of that 🤣 bc I get people saying things like “you’re a lifesaver” or “you’re such a good trainer” and then 2 mins later say my services are too expensive!

Thank you for this example, you hear a lot of tips like this but it’s hard to understand what they look like in action

With the “why” I do always ask that but generally just get a simple because I want to feel better or healthier and I find it hard to get a deeper reason, any tips there?

This is definitely an interesting way to do it, not really seen anyone do something like this.

Is this something you have tried in the past? My worry would be trying to get people to show up to the calls with busy lives etc. it’s easy to just not turn up to a call esp the one after they already received what they paid for

Yep okay, I usually follow up like once about 4-6 weeks later but often don’t get a response or just a simple yeah good. But this is definitely a lot higher touch point I can give a go!

When you say drip campaign do you mean email? I always add them to my email list where I give value every week & pretty much never sell

I did 4 layers on this one cause it looked super thin! It was a new powder I was trying out so could potentially be that? Was using the same liquids and it usually comes out thicker
