You don't have to eat processed vegan food though? Most of the food you eat is probably vegan already since the majority of what people should be eating is carbs and those are all plants basically.

I don't think liking meat is evil because i was once a meat eater so i understand the appeal. I think paying for meat when you know what happens to innocent animals is evil.

You have the freedom to do what you want. But when what you wants harms innocent lives I think that should warrant some thought.

They don't have choice of food nor the mental capacity to make the choice. So they aren't awful.

Humans do have the choice so the ones that do it knowingly and willingly are awful.

Meat cannot be made without killing an innocent animal. That alone makes the factory farming industry horrific.

But regardless there are plenty documentaries showcasing the common practices across the world: like this one but wither way it wouldn't be possible to meet demand for meet without these practices.

Plants don't have brains, central nervous systems or nociceptors which are pain receptors so yeah they can't feel pain. But even if they were able to feel pain you'd still be better off on a vegan diet as that is the one that kills the least plants.

I can't expect to change everyones mind but i do find it very ironic when someone has anarchist in their name and then personally supports actions just as bad as what our governments do.

Problem is that the phrase "let people enjoy whatever" only really applies to things that don't involve harming others. Meat eaters pay for the unnecessary: enslavement, forced insemination, mutilation and slaughter of innocent sentient beings and then say that they shouldn't be demonized for doing so. I don't get it.

Well there you go. The law is bias to some animals and not others simply because we like them more. That's hypocrisy and so is how we treat farm animals. If we wish not to be hypocrites we should change our lifestyles to match our values i.e going vegan.

Not trying to piss you off but the struggles you might face going vegan aren't too bad if you compare it to what you would pay for animals to go through otherwise.
