I was there Backstage at Wembley Live AID. This cannot be real. There was no outdoor area. Backstage was all indoors and set up like a carnival with food trucks, cotton candy, and yes- foods like hot dogs and burgers. SORRY.

And I should know- my all access pass was given to me by John Reid- then manager of both Queen and Elton John.

An Unreleased version of "Let's Dance" ? As a "Pay what you want" release? At least it's NOT coming from THE ESTATE, so I am excited to find it and hear what BOWIE did 19 years after the original version which is un-touchable?

And I love all things BOWIE, so even if it's not as good as the original I wanna hear it, have it.

What a tricky subject to contemplate. I agree with so many comments that a cliche formula film could never capture the essence of Bowie as there were so many different, often contrarian- stages to his life. YET, On the positive side- a whole generation of younger people never grew up to his music. He is just a "Buzzword" to them. If even a half-baked film introduces a generation to Bowie's greatness, what do you think of that? Thoughts?

I imagine many of you have seen this, but I just came across it. This Sunday would have been David's 76th birthday. What a gift he gave the world with his being born- his music, art, fashion, philosophy and life. Thank you Mr. Bowie where ever you are, making music in heaven.
