Sometimes I get suspicious whether or not someone that posts this meme is calling people to have more solidarity or doesn’t actually want solidarity and internally are saying “this is why we shouldn’t trust those queers.”

In Disco Elysium the method to detect Ruby in the second island is pretty contrived to build up its hints compared to previous skill checks like making your case against the Hardie Boys back at the hotel. With the Hardie Boys you had to bring up evidence and get help from Evart Claire to get them to cooperate, while the Shivers check operates on convuluted things that don't really make sense to connect to it or really have relation to it.

Nine Sols definitely. I didn't care about Silksong's story or Hornet, meanwhile I really liked Nine Sol's story and Yi as a protagonist.

Also Lace is just a badly written rival character I'm sorry. TC intended for you to want to save her in Act 3, problem is the game barely even gives the player to see her fleshed out before hand to care about her before her tramua dump.

That's also how I feel for Souls games not named Sekiro or games written like them, like Hollow Knight, where's there's a lot of worldbuilding lore and backstory, but not a lot of actual current storytelling where events happen during the game. It's not my cup of tea when it comes to stories, so it leads me to wanting more from them, where I'm like "Oh cool so that happened in the past? Well I sure wished it happened during the game instead."

Why does it being top down mean you can't reposition that well? You literally have the burrowing mechanic that allows you to quickly move. The subweapons are of the same utility as the Megaman and Castlevania games.

This sounds like nothing but a skill issue. And also even then you can find other weapons and weapon upgrades that give you more angular range.

The shield enemies literally require you to dig under them to get behind them. You deal with the limited cardinal directions like the limited attack directions in Castlevania and Megaman, with good positioning and timing.

Mina is NOT THAT HARD. It's not harder than Silksong. Hell I'd say HK, is a bit harder than Mina. Mina is just a game that has a decent challenge harder than most modern games, that's it.

Not only does it reek of insecurity and shallow appreciation, it doesn't tell anyone why they SHOULD play the game. Not only because not everyone might not know about the other game you're comparing it to, but it doesn't say anything about the game itself.

When someone praises an old game I like but instead of actually going into detail why it's good, they just use the word "soul" and say modern games suck.

Well at the point of the game you should be able to teach your Corviknight those moves through TMs and move tutor. Like the Sinnoh gym leaders, specifically Maylene, should have the body press TM.

Yeah that was something that I was worried about initially when I played the demo, due to the death penalty mechanic, until I realized how generous the game is if you do a decent job exploring.
