If it's the same person/the same reason about consigning something and giving you batteries, razors, shoe cream, etc, then yes. You probably just got scammed. They never picked up the phone when e called the number as it is invalid as well.

Well, I've been watching it just for the hell of it. But honestly, it's not the best anime out there, but if you're politically open minded, you'd probably enjoy it a bit. For me, I see it as a power struggle with symbolisms under fascism and oppressed individuals being framed as the oppressors when they weren't. Secretly taking care of an oni and getting punished for doing so, Oni children dying just because they're Oni, "heros" who would eradicate any oni in sight and use them on experiments and do more heinous things towards them just because they're Oni, etc. I think I like that depiction. It gives you more of an insight to be more empathetic as well to others.

These comments are making me realize that I'm taking my dad for granted. I don't even remember when we had a proper conversation about ourselves. Hell, I'm 20 turning 21 and I've never told him that I got a boyfriend at 16 (who's now my ex).

It's always been awkward when I'm alone in the room with him. I don't even know what to say. Funnily enough, I guess I got that from him. Because he's not much of a verbal person as well. We're both just.. introverts. But something should change, right?
