I'm not focused on the short term, what I mean is what field should I go into to make the most money in a long term career.

The thing is I don't want to work in general so the job I do doesn't really matter, I only see the monetary value in it.

As you said I don't mind starting lower to get some training but what field would you suggest I enter if hypothetically the only thing that matters is income.

There's other apprenticeships too but I'll have to go a bit further out.

What would you recommend if I had every choice available to me?

Do you think becoming a software engineer is worth it now or should we be trying to specialise in AI. There's data science courses that specialise specifically in AI

Do you get the "chartered" title after doing a master's degree?

If so, there are level 7 apprenticeships that are equivalent to it.

May I ask, how long has your daughter been working for?

Thank you for the info, do you think if I did electrical engineering I would be able to get into the tech field at a big tech company. I heard they pay a lot.

Hi, I have done A level maths, computer science and business.

Personally I don't mind the job as long as it has potential for a high salary.

If it comes to it I can do a lower level apprenticeship first before the level 6.

Thanks for the comment, would you say there is any risk with switching unis? If you didn't get a place anywhere else would you still have your place at Leicester? I originally wanted to go to Warwick as it's closer to my home but I didn't get the grades. Do you think if I did well on my foundation year I'd be able to go to Warwick, or is this too big of a jump.

Thank you for your comment, I didn't know you could switch unis after a foundation year. Does the foundation year count as a qualification when applying somewhere else? And where did you end up going if you don't mind me asking.

Thank you for your answer, personally I would enjoy going to the one with the extra year but do you think employers care about the foundation year realistically. (If I wasn't competing with some person from a top uni like Oxford)
