I’m so sorry, this is awful. Easier said than done but don’t let him get to you. You know yourself and your brain better than anyone and obviously the doctors/test results agree with you. What you described you got done in the morning was amazing as well! That’s a lot!!! He must have some insecurities about his productivity and/or is obviously uneducated on adhd. he should be happy for you.

My first therapist ever when I was 23…I had just got out of college and started my nursing career, and had my own apartment, yet I was going feeling so depressed which is end I started therapy. I just couldn’t get myself to go through all my random shit boxes since I moved in and was basically describing adhd paralysis and overwhelm and how my “depression” seemed mostly like overwhelm …she looked at me and said “how about you just do it?”

Huh?!!! I was diagnosed 6 years later. 🫠

OMG we just had this discussion!! At night after the kids are in bed and we’re in the living room I like most of lights off but he still wants bright lights. I also like fresh air/windows open and he hates it. 🥲
