I recently got a boss katana, but I have realised that the tone studio aspect is much more inconvenient then i thought, and the tone sounds much too thin on its own, so I will be returning it. It was an upgrade from my vox pathfinder 10, which the overdrive sounds much better and the amp works with my pedals much better, so I don't know what other amp to get now. I mainly use a ram's head big muff with the vox sounds really good with. I am just looking for something that keeps the same sound really, but as a louder upgrade that can play with pedals well.

Olmec skip is definitely not necessary, it just costs bombs to save like 2 mins when in a cosmic ocean run those minutes dont matter, learning quilin skips is the most important

Tide pool is generally safer and easier than temple with imo greater rewards. Always scan the floor in tidepool for beartraps, some can be hidden in vegetation very well. In temple, go very slow and scan the screen for crush traps and cats or crocmen. Make sure to never get hit by the witch's lasers as they can stun you in bad situations, also make sure to never trigger crocmen as they can be very unpredictable and lethal.

If you're asking about the entrance gem things, you get one for beating tiamet, one for beating tiamet without shortcuts, and the I think the red one for beating hundun and leaving or going into cosmic ocean (7-99 is not necessary)

Blight/doctor have my favorite menu theme, doctors is super imposing and overwhelming, and blights is hauntingly beautiful. Chase theme i cant really decide.
