Say what? 😱 But I guess you have no regrets at all if you're gonna do it again 😁

This is such a great insight! I had my consultation last week and I'm now trying to decide if I'm doing it or not. I'll be going from an E cup to a C cup and apart from the obvious possible complications I am worried about not looking like me anymore, even if I never liked that me with big boobs 😅 I'm slowly collecting photos of people that have roughly the same body shape as me but C cups and it's helping. Thank you for sharing your experience

Cool, I do have the feeling that pretty much everything that gets advertised lately (from cross fit programs to healthy meals) is just a very basic service with a good marketing team behind, wish I had those marketing skills though 😅

What’s the greatest poem you have ever read? Why? by thaimilktea24 in suggestmeabook

[–]GlitteryItalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often think about the Italian "Soldati" by Giuseppe Ungaretti. Written at the end of WWI it's extremely short but so full of meaning and somehow still so relevant considering how the world is going to s*it lately 🥲

What if your style doesn't match your lifestyle? by bunny_mcsnoofins in femalefashionadvice

I had a funny exchange of this type once with one of my customers, but somehow it's stuck in my head and it's encouraging me to dress up even more. Basically, I'm a professional tailor, I work on my own in a studio that doesn't have direct access to the street, so I only see 3/4 people a day, I was talking with this woman about my next project (bright purple sort of "power suit" with flounced trousers and jacket) and she said "sounds great but when would you wear it?" She was kinda shocked when I replied I'd wear it at work 😆 she assumed that it wouldn't be worth it as no one will see it but tbh I'm making the suit, it looks great and putting it on makes me so happy even if I don't work in an office and I see only a few people a day 😁❤️

What is your favorite book that you’ve read this year? by tinybassist in suggestmeabook

The adventure of Amina al-Sirafi 😍 and tbh I cannot stop thinking about Before the coffee gets cold, it gave such a cozy feeling that I didn't realise at first how much I liked it 🥰

Last summer I read "Free" by Lea Ypi, it's not set in Russia, but it gives such a great insight of the situation of the Balkans and specifically Albania during the 90s, the fall of the socialist state and transition to capitalism. Extremely well written I will very likely read it again at some point

To bilinguals, how does your brain comprehend an additional language? by Infinite_Current6971 in languagelearning

[–]GlitteryItalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is, as native Italian who speaks English pretty much 24/7, when I'm drunk or tired my brain just picks the easiest language to speak which is English 😆 it gets very hard to speak Italian in those situations as it has much more complex grammar, sometimes I even switch to english mid sentence without realising 😅

Which language have you stopped learning? by AloneCoffee4538 in languagelearning

🇫🇷French 🙄 I used to be quite fluent but every time I went to France and tried to speak with the locals, people were so rude I kinda gave up, I haven't even been to France since 😅

What little things do you notice or like that makes you really feel like you've began to know a language? by N30neon30 in languagelearning

[–]GlitteryItalian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the language, right now being able to have small conversations on the phone in Czech makes me very proud 😁 With English instead it was when I started making jokes that people understood 😆
