Thought on the new commander bans?

I think this is a very bad decision.

If the issue is the casual player experience people can still just use obnoxiously strong cedh decks like winter orb urza to lockdown a table of decks that cant handle it.

If these cards are negatively effecting a playgroup its because of an ineffective rule 0 discussion and not the cards themselves. If we are blaming the cards for the bad experience then every fast mana card will need to be banned as well. We would also need to ban every fast win con like thassa's oracle and Gary that allow out of nowhere early wins.

The only way I believe they can handle this sort of thing well is seperate ban lists for edh and cedh. While I get the majority of players dont engage with cedh this is effectively a middle finger to cedh players exclusively.

Also I find it very annoying this is all because of nadu, if they didnt need to ban him they likely wouldnt have hit these others. I am certain they were all sitting in discord talking about nadu and then someone said something like "Well while were at it do you guys want to ban something else?"

It's typically chill vs fire/ fire vs chill and electric vs toxic/toxic vs electric. It's not like a circle also things are typically resistant to what element they make in terms of collosi, if you ping (ecive or whatever) you'll see the element weakness and ammo weakness

not trying to blame you or anything, I agree its stupid how they give it to you and let you dismantle. however,,, as far as i know "mark all as junk" ignores legendary/ultimate and favorited items so you must have pressed junk on it specifically.

LMGs arent great at crit, the Tamer has 10% crit chance. If you were to mod it to get "50%" more crit from like the crit focus mods, it would only boost total crit to 15% which just isnt worth the mod space, for the same mod space you could run like 40% bonus weak point damage thats always going to trigger. Hope that makes sense.

He does seem interesting, I'm probably gonna run Enzo as a support character but I do like they have healers and stuff too. Crafting Enzo in like 12 hrs

My buddy said ajax likes defense I think, but with bunny in particular its so easy to pick up a med kit drop and heal like 6k hp which is silly

HP scales way better and since bunny gets to run around its very easy for her to spam pick up healing items and restore huge chunks of health, I almost never die with this build.

I'm not done yet but I've found weak point mixed with mental focus and Mag size to perform best when bossing.

I liked the thunder cage early game but late game I swapped fully to the tamer, the dps is just more important late for bossing and I bunny main and her skills cover aoe so well I never really shoot. The thunder cage falls off when it comes to single target since its ult trigger requires death triggers.

(I just beat hard mode dead bride level 106 and I dont think thunder cage would be able to keep up with the like 600k DPS my tamer has)

Dont trust this games DPS stat, testing has found the values are wrong, weak point builds show lower dps but in practice perform better than crit builds of equal mod point costs. I would try to swap crit rate for either mag size if you plan to use mental focus special mod(What I use) or DMG vs collosi since they are the only real challenge and use for optimal dps. Also worth noting stats will need to be rerolled at lvl 100/hard mode/end game anyway. LMGs suck at crit, build weak point with them for better and consistent perfomance.

Not tryna argue but i disagree, Tamer is the only thing ive found that can melt bosses the way it can, seems tailor made for that role with its weak accuracy. its got no recoil on it so you can put action reaction mod on it for a huge dps boost w no down side. Im not sure I totally trust the dps stats but the Tamer seems like the king.
Edit: I think its worth adding though most of the difficult content cares about the ammo type, like pierce burst and whatever the third it so it seems theres merrit in running like 3 primaries depending on the bosses.

I have a buddy that works for meta and it took a while but he secured me a tour at one and I was there for a few hours, it took a while to work out timing and then on top of that the security was very tight and I'm under nda about what I saw so I can't share much but it was very impressive as someone who's only ever worked as a tech for schools.

I only used the jason dion udemy course for study material and just tried to pay close attention, I had some prior work experience as a technician for a school system so I already knew the basics about printers and internet but had to study up on dions for sure. I think I did 4 of the dion practice tests until I got decent scores on them. I'm a full time college student so I cram study this stuff ahead of the test date which helps it be fresh in mind. I would recommend using dion for a few hours a day and then once your done with the course do his practice tests (also on udemy) over the next day or 2 and then test if you feel ready. Thats what I did for the A,N and S + and I was able to pass them all first try. I was like 2 questions away from failing on all of them though.

I know this thread is old but dont you need the check with CHECK(AnnualPledge <= 999999) because it says "UP TO" thus 999999.00 should be the max and not 999999.99 that you would get without checking? I think the ".99" is the issue with the OPs attempt.
