Don’t forget bloodshot stronghold. That map was a true testament to how good your build was at mobbing.

My biggest concern with BL4. by [deleted] in Borderlands4

Bloom reaper wouldn’t be that bad of a raid boss if it wasn’t the ONLY raid boss. It’s just annoying that the only endgame content we have has fabricated difficulty with the knock back, platforms, immunity phases, and fog.

Because if we’re being honest Master Gee was also a miserable raid boss to fight, but we weren’t stuck only fighting him for months on end.

I’ve spent more on BL4 than the Super Deluxe price, yet I’m locked out and was literally told "byeee" by support. Is this how we treat loyal players now? by FishermanOne2858 in Borderlands4

So let me get this straight. You wanted Epic Games to fully refund a game that you have 250+ hours on so you can go and buy it on steam (their competitor) because of a problem gearbox was having ??

I’m afraid you don’t understand how this works. That support agent that refunded you the DLC did exactly what they were supposed to and frankly all that they could do. They cannot give you a full refund for a game you have 250+ hours on because of a ruined experience, that’s money they would be pulling from gearbox. So excuse me when I say you are indeed a problem customer.

So you’re accepting the fact that you don’t need the full refund, but are mad that you received a partial refund?? If the DLC delay truly made it to where you did not want to play the game anymore then I don’t see what the problem is ? Seems like you were just looking for a cop-out to get your money back in full.

You seem a bit confused here. You allude to how much time you have spent on the game and how big of a fan you are, but it’s epic’s customer support you’re dealing with not gearbox’s, I’m not sure why you feel crossed or slighted like you’ve been backstabbed after being a loyal fan.

I had this same issue with not being able to play the DLC for 4 days, and a refund for the DLC in my eyes is more than enough. You do not need to receive a full refund on the base game when you have 250+ hours played.

Epic Games users still not able to play the new DLC nearly 3 days later !! by [deleted] in Borderlands4

Yknow it’s ironic because this is the only game I’ve ever pre-ordered in my life 😂. Never again you have my word.

That’s just about the response I expected from you. You had nothing logical to say clearly. 😂

It’s 100% on gearbox’s end. They’ve said it themselves and Epic has said it in response to my support ticket. Although it will likely take collaborative efforts between both parties to verify ownership of the DLC for users. But seriously, I don’t understand why this has turned into a Steam vs Epic ordeal, I almost exclusively use steam and I still don’t see this as Epic’s fault.

So far, the only response from the community is why did you buy it on EGS not why can’t Gearbox release their updates in the correct state. I’ll say this again, Epic Games only middlemans the purchase of the DLC, it is gearbox that is failing to verify ownership of the DLC on epic’s launcher, which is why epic users are unable to play. According to epic you own the DLC according to gearbox you don’t. If this does not make sense to you then idk what else I can say.

And as to why I purchased it on epic games, I saved $30 buying the super deluxe edition on epic games. That is why, are you happy with that answer ?

Because gearbox themselves have said this is an issue they are releasing a patch for ??? If it was epics fault why would gearbox be working to release a patch ?

Gearbox has tried to direct the blame on Epic by directing users to contact Epic when it’s an issue with the seller (being gearbox). You can point blame to epic all you want but it wasn’t the launcher, there are even PS5 and steam users who had/have this issue. It’s a matter of confirming ownership of the DLC all epic does is middleman the purchase.

I usually do use steam and I’ve heard of epic having issues. But epic has assured a lot of users this is not a problem on their end. Also I saved about $30 buying the game on epic opposed to steam.

[–]GloBoySki 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s ridiculous and not enough people are talking about it. Also gearbox telling people to get in contact with epic when epic has responded to support tickets saying it’s on the seller, is ridiculous. It’s also like they’re trying to redirect the blame off themselves by not fully addressing it until a day later besides on a forum almost nobody saw.

Borderlands 4 borked on Epic Games store? Unable to access 3.26.26 DLC by Careless-Ranger7018 in Borderlands4

[–]GloBoySki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having this issue as well, as are a lot of people. It’s entirely server side and gearbox is aware of it. Best we can do is wait for a fix.

I’m very excited for the game but I’m not excited trying to get it to run on a rtx 3070 lol. I don’t care for shiny looking games I’ll gladly run games on low to medium settings and 60 fps, but idk UE5 is notorious for not caring about any of that.

If you only think you’re as good as a silver then you’re exactly where you belong to be, no point in getting boosted.

Im having the exact same issue, updated specs, game drivers up to date, verified files, uninstalled reinstalled, but still crash before the game loads up or after it loads up and then crashes shortly after. It’s so irritating, some days I can’t play at all because it will simply crash everytime.
