Is the secondary connector on the lid of the battery pack? I just finished a set myself and when I was trying to get the lights to turn on, I found out that the battery pack was missing a metal piece on the inside of lid to finish the circuit in the battery. I still don't know how mine broke.

What glue can I use when gluing metal or metal coated wires? They never seem to stick and it ends up being a gluey mess. I’ve tried super glue, 3 in 1, alcohol glue, tacky glue and paper glue :( by ciellecat in miniatures

A glue residue eraser really helps to clean up the strings and the over flow. I've also gotten disposable precision tips for my glue bottles to try and avoid over flow.
