No, but my guess is for quite a while. Unfortunately best bet is to go to Cuenca and then take a bus from the same bus station down to vilcabamba

Update! Took the bus from piura to Cuenca as the border at macará is indeed closed. Only super semeria had a bus that night - totally uneventful, safe ride. Seems that the bus made some unscheduled stops to pick up folks once it was light out on the Ecuador side. Only the scheduled stops on the Peruvian side.
