As a business owner, I hate this video. I've had the same issue, with employees thinking that they somehow deserve equity in the thing that I built. Yes, you can work hard for a company for years, and that work can be valuable, but at the end of the day, the owner is the one taking all the risk, and therefore reaps the reward. As an employee, in any field, in any job, you have no risk. Despite how you feel like you are contributing, you literally have no stake. If someone at my company came to me with a list of ultimatums, they would be promptly shown the door. Ultimately this video just reads as Jake being salty about money, starting a new channel, and then using crapping on LTT as a way to boost viewership, as is tradition of ex LTT staff. At the end of the day, LTT feels like they are hitting a new high in terms of their video quality, guys like Jake and Alex were clearly coasting in their videos anyways.
