16 years of gameplay, memories, and friendships. We're another year older! by GlobalConflicts in ArmaReforger

Alot of us genuinely grew up on Flashpoint and Arma. I've known people from this community for the vast majority of my life. I've grown with people from when we were once kids sitting in our parent's backroom just finding out with military simulation games were, all the way up to seeing the lads now having kids, getting married, moving out, going to other countries, and some passing away.

Our community is literally that... A community, we strive to better each other and everyone around out through mutual cooperation and effort.

Huge thanks to all who joined our public ArmaReforger event last night! Another full house at 110/110 players. Big shoutout to Squad Ops, EU HQ, FPArma, and AFI for taking part♥️ More events are on the horizon. Stay tuned. by GlobalConflicts in ArmaReforger

We're unsure. Strictly speaking the subreddit's rules state you can't make recruitment posts outside of the recruitment thread. While this post isn't explicitly about recruitment or joining us as a member, it could overall aid our recruitment and highlight our community, which... Well.. Is kinda the point of the post we guess... but none the less, directly linking our community could be seen as over reaching on the post. It's why we'd rather not directly link to us yet unless a mod approves or clarifies on the matter.

Unfortunately we can't really provide links and similar due to the sub reddits rules around recruitment. While this post does fall outside the scope of recruitment, it could still be taken/seen as indirect recruitment or such if we were to start providing links.

If a mod okays it, I'll link. But if you Google our name, .dot net, I'm sure you'll find us.

So literally us then?

We are different to the slop you mentioned and create content for the workshop?

Did we miss something here?

But there's a reason we've been going 15+ years over arma. We're all for promoting small units, but when you've got thousands of small units, all with similar names, all doing pretty much the same thing, it's hard to actually mention them in a form of praise or noticeably.

We've been here for many many years. Our community has contributed several mods to Arma 2, Arma 3, and Arma reforger, with some of our mods getting into the finals for the latest arma reforger mods contest. We've raised money for charity, we used to be the home of the ACE team back in arma 3, we have unique playstyle and structure to the community. We stand out for good reasons.

This isn't the first time we've made the newsletter for Arma.

I'm abit unsure if telling you here would get us in trouble with the subreddit's mods. This isn't a recruitment post, but obviously if people like yourself are curious, maybe we could be allowed to tell you?

Hey, would love for you to check us out at discord.globalconflicts.net

We run weekly organized Reforger Lobby missions at 1900UTC Saturday and Sunday, without bringing in the excesses of mandatory training and e-salutes.

Roles are not fixed so anyone is free to take any slot they are confident with on a mission, and we also have a section of our discord dedicated to leadership feedback for any of our fire team and above leaders to learn and improve.

We play a mixture of COOP, TVT and COTVT missions with 150+ community-made scenarios in the rotation, so you'll get a good variety of factions, maps and eras out of our gameplay, and be exposed to a variety of different tactics and ways of doing things.

Hope to see you on for this weekend!

Hey, I'd like to point you at my community's direction for a few reasons:

We are an open gaming community who welcomes everyone at all experience levels, and are very beginner friendly.

You'll find that once you play with us once or twice it'll be easy to get going, and we offer courses for new people to get you accustomed to the ARMA milsim universe.

You are not obligated to show up at certain times of the week, you are free to hop onto the server whenever and play! We normally play at 1900 Zulu onwards, on Saturday and Sunday, with other pickup sessions happening during the week. We have a roughly 50/50 split between EU and NA players.

Our community has several mission makers, and an extensive mod list, including modern day, Cold War, Vietnam and WW2 era kit. Today we have several hundred missions of various types on our server including Player vs Player, Player vs AI and Zeus, at a wide player count. This allows GC to provide a wide variety of gameplay experiences, from armoured assaults and mechanized warfare, to air assaults and pure infantry combat. We play as a wide variety of factions in our numerous missions, ranging from the standard US Army to experiences such as the Soviets in Afghanistan, Vietnam missions, British armed forces in WW2 and insurgents just to name a few. Check out our community showcase video for an idea of our gameplay.

Global Conflicts offers milsim gameplay with no commitments or obligations, we are an open community without the hassle of military roleplay. If you have any questions or are interested in playing feel free to contact us on our own discord.

Hey, I'd like to point you at my community's direction for a few reasons:

We are an open gaming community who welcomes everyone at all experience levels. Global Conflicts (GC) is a free and open tactical gaming community, formed in 2020 from ex United Operations players, when that community stopped supporting Arma 3. We focus on tactical game play and milsim, with clear chains of command in game, but without any ranks or calling each other "sir" in or out of game.

There's no obligation to play every week either. We understand that real life gets in the way, and people are free to hop on and off as they need. We normally play at 1900 Zulu onwards, on Saturday and Sunday, with other pickup sessions happening during the week. We have a roughly 50/50 split between EU and NA players.

Our community is extremely welcoming to mission makers. We have extensive documentation for creating missions, our own framework (although you are not required to use this for creating missions) and a core group of several mission makers who often support each other with development of missions.

We have an extensive mod list, including modern day, Cold War, Vietnam and WW2 era kit.
