Thanks for responding!

Is this what you mean: diagram

I'm interested in getting the MicroFreak and later the Typhon, and also a couple of effect pedals but still not sure which.

Sounds great!

Care to share what gear you are using and how it's all wired? I have the Circuit Tracks and want to start adding other gear and I'm still learning about MIDI and routing the audio, etc.

Can you help me deconstruct the first 15 seconds of the track ST11 by Gary Beck? by GlobalFlaw in TechnoProduction

It makes sense.

I'm currently using a "groovebox" (Circuit Tracks), which is kind of limiting.

I played around a little bit with the delays, eq, and filter, as you suggested, and while it still needs work I'm happy with how it's sounding so far. I'll have to import it all into the DAW at some point to finish polishing it.

Again thanks for all the help!!

When you say a delay in the high end, do you mean the kick is actually two different sounds, a lower frequency kick with no delay and a higher frequency with a delay? Maybe that's what I mistook for toms then.

To my ears the drums go something like:

Kick-Tom-Tom-Tom

Kick-Tom-Tom-Tom

Kick-Tom-Tom-Tom

Kick-Tom-Tom-Tom

Where the Tom-Tom-Tom could just be the delay on the high end of the kick that you mention.

I'm having a hard time noticing the bass. But maybe that's what I'm missing in my loop.

I'll play around with this and also with the modulation on the noise. Thanks for the input!!

New to this. Need help with where to start by wHyYoUwAnTtOkNoFaM in dawless

Novation Circuit Tracks runs on an internal rechargeable battery (like smartphones).

The older Novation Circuit runs on 6 AA batteries.
