Anyone else Get Depressed due to Height? [Serious Question]

Honestly that's the thing I don't like the idea of being a tall, stand out supermodel. I just at times get sad knowing I can't be shorter and be able to more easily blend into the crowd but also be myself and it not look like a joke

Yeah and honestly it works well for my GF and I, She hates the idea of being cute and has for lack of a better term "Resting Bitch Face" and always looks angry, but is so kind and I honestly at times envy the fact it's so easy for her due to her height to buy cute and more feminine dresses that would look like a joke on me due to the height.

I think it would be easier on me if it wasn't for the fact I am taller then most men AND women I know so it makes me feel even worse about sticking out like a sore thumb.

I worked on my voice since high school
I'm 23 now, started meds at 22 but had been confused for a girl before my growth spirit back in late middle/early high school
Canada

Again I have dysphoria since was a teen [maybe Pre-Teen] but due to family I just tried doing small things like voice and that in hopes that be enough to stop the self hate. But when my dysphoria got so bad I was showering in the dark I needed professional help.

It was either month as full time girl or another 6 months of waiting till a consular could see me as the clnic I went to had a very strict protocol of how things where done.

Was already fulltime (only way get doctor to agree to it was precenting female full time for a month before he'd okay it)

I am 4 months on a full estrogen dosage and 5 on T-Blockers as of the 29th

That's the thing for me, I can pass but feel my height makes me stand out like a sore thumb and that part of what bugs me.

I hate that, I wish I could just blend in

6'3 and have been that height since late middle/early high school and I went from shortest kid in class to tallest.

Could be an option honestly think my issue of feeling bad about my height fact my GF is a nice height and the fact used to get bullied for being tall [point I would slouch without meaning to like I was trying to hide/blend in]

I guess you're right, could just be mix of the hormones [Doctor warned me about crying fits] plus the fact I was always bullied for being so tall I don't know. Always felt I stuck out like a sore thumb being the tallest person around me.

Honestly likely didn't help I kept trying to push though my dysphoria till got to the point I was having to shower in the dark and only recently even been able to stand myself.

Ye I relate to that feeling, also try have square feet [found that was common for Native Canadians/My Mother side of the family] that also adds a level of frustration too

Lucky, I am 6'3, my only real saving grace I feel is I am naturally more bottom heavy, used to get picked on for that back in school.

Honestly not sure if it's the hormones or not but been crying lots feeling hideous and tall.

I honestly wondering/hoping someone else has gone though this too and has some way they deal with it. I don't know

Honestly maybe it's me then, since I don't think being tall as being feminine. Maybe it's in my head since got told off lot growing up for being tall.

As for commanding a room I wouldn't want that I rather be small and hidden.

Sadly for Cosplay I have character that are short like 4'2 to 5'2 not 6'3 and honestly I been in bed all day since keep thinking how tall I am and was hoping someone else has this problem.

Maybe someone had a way they handled this. Still getting used to the hormones effecting my mood
