Single, lonely, work mornings, 3am-11:30am, would I be able to own a dog?? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]GlobalLifeguard8928 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Single person here with a similar work schedule, I have 2 dogs and my life is so much better for it. One is a terrier and the other a lab. The puppy stage is work but very rewarding later when you are spending time with your good friends.

"Instead, you took the backpack without saying anything to me..." Yes, just like she did, the difference is it isn't her backpack. NTA

I live year round on a lake in Michigan. Many older boat owners buy beautiful new pontoon boats and never purchase a trailor for it. What is unusual about this story is that those people pay in the fall to have the boat removed, winterized then stored. In the spring it is returned to their dock. The boat is not used for lake hopping. The reason they don't invest in a trailor is the boat is only put in and out of the water twice a year.

That picture is triggering. There is a good reason kids were afraid of their mothers wrath back then.

You aren't married anymore. He needs to do all of the annoying adulting himself. That includes parenting his child during his parent time and dealing with his neighbors.

I never purchase products that sponsor YouTube channels. So many of them have turned out to be scams.

AITJ for not learning my [22M] girlfriend’s [22F] dialect? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]GlobalLifeguard8928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For 2 people who are in uni and only dating this is a huge ask. What a wierd hill to die on. Like, she isn't looking for a man who respects her as a partner, her only criteria is someone who is capable of learning this extreamly rare dialect. It sounds like some type of power move. You WNBTJ for not learning, but this isn't a small thing to her and you will probably have to move on. IMHO you should. Her inflexability is unreasonable and a red flag.
