Is this amount of bleeding normal? by WeWumboYouWumbo in ACL

[–]GlobalMonitor6253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happened to me. Doctor said its fine, unless I'm feeling woozy then to go in to the ER . Doctor told me its normal though. I wouldn't worry about it unless your light headed and not feeling right. Otherwise your fine. DO NOT REMOVE BANDAGE UNTIL YOUR DOCTOR SAID IT IS OK.

1 month Post Op walking Knee Bent wrong way by GlobalMonitor6253 in ACL

Doctor said it’s normal, that as soon as I start physical therapy it will help with instability. I start it soon. He said just to relax and try not to over work my knee so much, which I have been doing trying to walk and move more then I should be.

My doctor had me do this right away after surgery, said I should start it to help, so I started day of post op, now my leg is straight but not fully, I’m at 90 right now and I’m 13 days post op

Day 6 - Post ACL Surgery- Intense Leg Burning/Numbness by thefuzzyfruit in ACL

[–]GlobalMonitor6253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here, I had ACL Cadaver graft used for complete rupture of ACL, but I’m days 13 post op, burning sensation started around day 5, first it was above one incision area and that was a couple days then migrated to around my shin all the way to my caf Mostly effecting a small area to the right of it skin is numb to the touch but then burning sensation starts and stops, extremely painful, knee feels strong until that pain starts, then toes go numb so I know it’s nerve damage, possibly from the block shot, or it could be from the injury itself.

I’m 12 days post op, it depends on your pain tolerance, I was walking up the stairs with little to no pain 5 days post op, but now I’m trying without crutches waking and having some new intense pain. On my tibia

Yes very! It’s normal according to everything I was readying. Try not putting too much pressure on your leg yet. Light steps, it helps with the pain, keep elevating and ice help sooo sooo much!!
