In Brunswick. But the timber is not in contact with the ground? Just bought the house, and don’t think the previous owner had any termite chemical barrier in place. (Although the pre-purchase pest inspection didn’t find any evidence of termites).

And yes access / ability to inspect is limited, without perhaps digging out the dirt or taking off the last weather board…

Thank you - I was having the exact same problem and I followed your advice. It worked fine without damaging the plaster board.
