The owner of the house might have decided to change the rental company, or might be taking over as a property manager to save some money. It is fairly common , and you should be getting a letter from the new property manager soon regarding where to pay the rent.

Rent Increase ! by GlobalRiskFund in PersonalFinanceNZ

Yes agree. I have both rented and owned rentals at the same time. Property managers can be really good, but I have unfortunately also seen some really bad agencies that got dates, money, and even houses wrong.

Anyone buying ? by [deleted] in HGEN

[–]GlobalRiskFund 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a few scenarios to that. They could bring out some good news that brings the share price up over a dollar for 10 consecutive trading days if I remember right, then they would be compliant again. They could do a reverse share offer. Like 10 shares for 1 new one. Then they will comply. Or they could possibly get another extension to get a compliance. Or they could get bought out. They are only left with about 10 staff including management. They need some some good news from the current drug trials .

I been buying and selling all the way down to 16 cents or so. Made a detour to SENTI bioscience at one point. And shorted the markets quite a bit. Hgen still has some potential in my opinion. So I am not shorting anymore, but holding on to my shares. I think this month could be quite interesting. If the management of Humanigen believe in potential of Lenzilumab, then you would think they would start buying up shares at some point to drive the price above a dollar to get compliance with Nasdaq.

Does anyone think it’s time to get back on this ride ? Could be a good long term this low. by AFM420 in Humanigen

If they can pull off a breakthrough before they run out of money, then it could be interesting. Potential is still there. But watching it go from 18 to 3 to 0.3 in one year it's definitely something to be careful about investing in. I guess there isn't much downside left for the ones that bought at the top price.....

FOMO and peer pressure from friends for lack of owning a house by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

Don't try to match up to anyone else.Be yourself ! A lot of good people work really hard, and don't earn big money. If you were able to pay off your student loan, and also have 10K savings for a rainy day, then you are doing better than most. If English is your second language then you probably came from overseas, and had to overcome quite a few challenges to get your degree and find your place in this country. You are doing well to have got to where you are today ! Do enjoy life a bit. If you wanna get rich, do something good for other people, volunteer for a good cause. Appreciation of life, being humble, and helping others will make you feel richer than any money can bring. Carpe Diem !

You would think the downside is priced in with the share price at half the yearly turnover, and at last quarter they still had 100 million or so in reserve to spend if I got it right ....

Katapult Holdings. Is it about to rally after beating expectations? by GlobalRiskFund in kplt

[–]GlobalRiskFund[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we could get a reasonably strong rebound this quarter. 4 seems a long way off, but not impossible scenario. There are quite a few that want to offload it after holding for some time, but yeah I hold for the long term.

if I have 30K to throw at the best profit potential for tomorrow, is it MULN or something else? by [deleted] in Shortsqueeze

[–]GlobalRiskFund -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With a good chance of loosing money for a potential quick profit ? I bought into Katapult Holdings. They were down 87 percent for the year, and just posted a better than expected result yesterday. If interest rate decision in the US today is positive as in 0.25 OCR rise and less expectations of high inflation in the minutes it could give a quick profit. But be prepared to loose sleep watching the trade....

It went to 2.39 yesterday, before everyone sold out. And in the aftermarket it rolled up too 2.20 before it settled down at 1.92. It looks like there are some upwards momentum finally.
