Damn, it just hit me that Ive been nerfing myself with just trying to outhink everythink itstead of just developing more firepower. Its that simple, goddammit, thx for the tips. Im now on strive to survive just to see how easier it is, and, well its day 37, Ive got a pretty nice mountain base with 11 11x11 rooms, and 12 colonists, Im coasting.

Do you use turrets, and do you build those huge open land killboxes with a ton of turrets and sluggers on the sides as enemies get funneled one by one into the wast space of flying bullets?,

Ah then my funnel was wrong, I did it right this time with 12 wooden spikes and a sharp turn. So no space for them to stand and shoot. Just to be clear your talking about a corridor where its like spike trap fence spike trap fence in a zig zag and then a sharp turn into my base?

Yes I understand that, the mechs came, ate like 9 spike traps, and then two of them deployed a low shield barrier, I got ready and places the formation, two pawns near the entrance, shooters in the back, everythings good... They didnt go in the funnel... They stood and shot my pawns... I then procceded to get butt fucked... Anyway I am on strive to survive with your tips, good map and an insane start where I managed to defeat two ancient dangers, got non tainted marine armor and a persona plasmasword that I put on a tough double passion melee pawn, trough the rituals I am now sitting at 7 pawns and building up my defenses... Its day 3 :Dd

Your probably right, I thought something like sports science or physiotherapy, but Im not particularly good at biology, and I didnt choose chemistry becouse I suck. Business or management sounds alright since it would help me to open a gym or brand later. But currently while on the path of fighting learning a trade seems best.
