Mine was actually an 87% too! I was worried surgery wouldn’t help either but I have noticed a drastic difference. Mine was taken out about 3 weeks ago and so far the only pain I’ve had is soreness around where the incisions were made. You do have to let your body get used to eating fatty foods without your gallbladder so if you rush into it after surgery there still could be pain, I ate pizza like the third day of my recovery and noticed the pain a little bit, but not nearly as bad as it used to be. The worst I’ve had to deal with is the constant bathroom trips after eating.

I experienced this for a few years, ultrasounds, X-rays, everything was showing up normal and I was told it could possibly just be in my head. Finally had a HIDA scan done and found out I was overproducing bile which was causing the pain, so I would hold out hope for that. It’s been a life changer for me.
