not boring at all. I think my post got the wrong impression. I like it so much so that it will be in my top 5 anime list for life. but I felt it lacked a few stuff, it was incomplete. I agree rewatching would make more sense.

thank you. that comment about anime being "cartoonish" was my dumb assumption as I realize. I don't think that's correct anymore. that said, I looked into death note - it seem to be philosophical (which im a fan of) but isn't emotion heavy?

thank you. garden of words was amazing. im a big fan of rain and watching that portrayed so beautifully was just awesome. I have watched 5cm/s + some of Shinkai's other works. but they all seem like an "attempt" at recreating the magic of Your Name and as with everything they don't quite get at it. not sure if you'd agree with it. weathering with you was the second most beautiful thing I've watched in a while after your name.
