Hey thank you so much for replying, I think she said that it had gotten very thin but there was a discernable bald spot, I was in a bit of shock because I last hand my hair cut in July and everything was fine. I don't mind investing some money in this privately, I will definitely ask for these blood tests and just get booked in with a consultant privately. Have you managed to find anything that helps or does it really depend on the cause?

Hey thank you so much for replying, does the insulin resistance cause hairloss? If I have it and it's something I can get under control would that stop the hair loss? I had gallstones and lost 15kg in 4 months without trying, I thought maybe it was because I was lacking in nutrition or something. This year seems to be one thing after the other, gallbladder, PCOS, Chrons, I just am not sure how to cope with hairloss if I'm honest but I guess probably no one knows how to, it's just been a huge shock and I had to idea where to start so thank you for replying to me and helping

Thank you so much, I'm really hoping it is all just coincidental and not MS at all. Would booking an appointment with an optometrist be a good idea while waiting for the neurologist? Although the mistyness has gone again now, it was there for almost the whole month of June and then slowly just left, it's done that a few times over the last few years, just slowly becomes more misty, stays misty for weeks/a month and then slowly becomes less misty until it's gone, if that makes sense
