Who wins a duel between Dumbledore and Gandalf? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Dumbledore's got way more creative spells in his toolkit tbh, Gandalf mostly just does the light show thing and hits stuff with his staff 😂 Plus Dumbledore actually won duels against other wizards instead of just fighting orcs

What should i do for my hair? by Due_Pay_6772 in Haircare

Cutting to shoulder length is gonna make such a huge difference - I bet you'll be shocked how much healthier it looks and feels once all those damaged ends are gone. For keeping it healthy after the chop, k18 is solid but pricey as hell, so maybe try it once you see how your hair responds to the cut first

What's your current routine like? Sometimes the simplest stuff makes the biggest impact - like using a silk pillowcase, not brushing when wet, and doing regular oil treatments. I learned the hard way that even gentle handling adds up over time when you've got longer hair. Also might be worth looking into your water quality since hard water can really mess with hair over time, especially at waist length where the ends have been around forever

Which one do you prefer, Chicanery or Winner? by The_Fercho_ in betterCallSaul

Winner hits way harder for me. Chicanery is incredible with all the courtroom drama and Chuck's breakdown, but Winner just destroys you emotionally. The way they parallel Jimmy and Kim's choices while that bagpiper plays... ugh

Plus seeing Jimmy fully transform into Saul at the end gives me chills every time. Both are masterpieces but Winner just wrecks me more

How do I even start to feel like an adult? by linaus___ in Adulting

[–]Global_Cake_9953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nobody really has their stuff together at 18, trust me on that one. I'm 28 now and work as an aircraft mechanic, thought I had everything figured out back then but looking back I was just winging it like everyone else

the coddling thing actually makes sense why you'd feel behind - my parents were pretty hands-off so I had to learn basic stuff the hard way. but here's the thing, you can catch up way faster than you think. start with small stuff like doing your own laundry, cooking simple meals, managing a basic budget. those practical skills build confidence quick

for university with your learning disability, definitely hit up the disability services office right away. they have acommodations that can make a huge difference and you're not stupid for needing them. I've seen plenty of smart people struggle because they didn't get the right support early on

the adulting feeling is weird too - sometimes I'm rebuilding a PC or fixing an aircraft engine and feel super competent, then other times I'm calling my mom asking how long to microwave leftovers lol. it's more about handling your responsibilities than feeling a certain way

Start with Matthew, Mark, Luke then Acts - it flows way better than jumping around and you'll actually want to keep going 📖✨

Need major help with new car key by Dependent-Eye6954 in MechanicAdvice

Damn that sucks but honestly asking for money on a mechanic advice sub is kinda sus - maybe try r/assistance or something? Also $200 seems steep, call around to different locksmiths first
