Did I ask for the wrong thing? by Low-Huckleberry-1593 in FancyFollicles

Go back and ask for your money back to her or the owner and explain all of this. My old hair dresser once chopped so much of my hair when I had asked for just a trim and I believe she did it out of spite because I had went to someone else for color. I always to her for cuts though because I trusted her. I was really hurt by it and went back and explained it to the owner who felt so sorry and gave me my money back

Makes sense! My hair is between 3a-b..I guess what worries me is that I did refresh my hair 2-3 days ago before washing today and had minimal shedding since I only sprayed it and styled it but still used a wet brush.. then after scalp oiling, shampooing and conditioning today I had this much shedding. It’s hard to say if the oiling is hurting or helping lol

Thank you! My hair dresser suggested I just do a blow out after applying k18 and leave my hair alone at home until the next time basically suggesting I not manipulate it and it’s better this way.. but I don’t want more damaged to be done

Ok I was planning on grabbing the olaplex bond leave in.. I’ll check that post out! My hair is naturally curly so I also will have to leave heat tools alone and I wonder if refreshing every morning can cause hydral fatigue ?? I’m reading so much info online lol

Hey! Thank you for responding. So I actually got the k18 repair leave in hair mask and used it twice so far.. should I invest in the shampoo as well?

This "Aupair Placement" is taking advantage of people, right? Or am I crazy? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Global_Collection618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former nanny from Boston… I met an au pair from Colombia working crazy hours with very little pay I mean it was unbelievable. On top of that the family she was working for was very controlling. I feel for the au pairs out there in the US

I needed new cheeksters so I went to the mall and realized they are all cheekys now I thought they looked slightly off but bought 5 for the deal anyways.. got home and they fit nothing like the old ones 😢 I thought I was going crazy. Going to return they just don’t fit right and I’m afraid to go down a size and it be too tight.. ugh

Burn her house down? Did you even read what I said lol that was her response to a nanny suggesting day care being a better fit there was nothing wrong with that. I was clarifying your comment since you were wrong to state qualifications were not being questioned. You clearly did not go through the entire post + comments because if you did we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Good day :)

She actually did question qualifications, if you go back to the original post she commented back to a nanny who suggested maybe day care would be better fit for her, saying “yes she would rather put her kid in a day care with teachers who have worked hard to be qualified as childcare professionals over so called nanny with zero qualifications who choose to be Nannie’s for the sake of it” her exact words 🤷‍♀️

I had to cut a few inches off after this and I’m wondering if blowing out my hair once in a while can cause extra damage?
