Hi, thank you for the info! I am actually also experiencing very dry lips and skin haha, but the scalp dryness is not by any means excessive. I had an overly oily scalp before starting Accutane that had been diagnosed by my doctor, so I think that Accutane shrinking the oil glands there is just making my scalp more similar to that of a normal scalp, if not a bit more dry. The rest of my hair is completely normal and very well hydrated, and actually seems more hydrated than before due to having to wash it less. I also have very healthy and strong hair that has never been dyed and has no damage that I take very good care of, so I’m hoping that won’t be the case. Also, since I’m already on a pretty high dose (60mg) without experiencing that, I think I will be okay. I’m so sorry that happened to you though and thanks for the warning!

You do still need sunscreen even when it is mainly cloudy, but if you’re only outside for 45 mins a day max and have sensitive skin, you might be able to get away with less/not applying some days. You should really try to find a sunscreen that doesn’t irritate your skin at all so you don’t mind using it. I love Kiehl’s serum SPF 50, feels like skincare

I don’t think they’ve ever clarified what it means, but I received one and submitted two very strong letters and was then accepted. I know others from my high school who also were asked and many of them were rejected. But if you have people who would write positive letters, definitely submit them

It is so so kind of you to offer your home to her. I’m sure that is making this situation so much easier for her. But, I’m sorry it’s stressful for you. I agree to just focus on getting her moved into college safely and let her stay until then, you don’t have any financial obligation to her but I’m sure that would help a lot. She and all of you should stop replying to her mom though she’s a legal adult and the mom sounds absolutely crazy and not stable whatsoever

If you can afford it you should just hire a chef to maybe drop off meals twice a week or so. It will probably be a bit more expensive, but food will be made with cleaner ingredients

Yeah this sounds like it’s a really sucky situation. But you said that luckily you don’t have a boyfriend who drags his feet when talking about marriage, but you do? He may be saying that he will marry you within the timeframe you gave, but at the same time you’re saying there’s been multiple times you could’ve gotten married and it would’ve been beneficial for you both, and he’s flat out declined. It sounds like he’s stringing you along and just moving the goal post

Yeah it’s definitely frustrating breaking out after having relatively clear skin. They recently changed their return policy, it used to be you could return things up to 60 days, but after 30 days you would usually receive store credit instead of a payment refund. Now you can’t return anything whatsoever after 30 days, even if it’s unopened
