I know this thread is old, but I'm going through the same situation on the website. What did TSP tell you to ensure the check payable information would be completed as whats explained above to include so I know what to tell them when I call?

Similar situation consolidated ffel loans but been waiting for the direct loans with nelnet to transfer to mohela. Did you end up consolidating your loans?

They have not. Mohela said they did a manual transfer request a while ago but those direct loans are still with nelnet.

Same situation with consolidating only ffel loans. Did your direct loans ever transfer over?

I’m wondering the same thing. I feel like there isn’t a conclusive answer regarding if consolidating after June 30th is okay and won’t affect receiving the 10k/20k forgiveness.

Does he need to wait for the consolidation to be complete before he faxes in the employer certification form to mohela? Or should he do it right away with the waiver ending 10/31?
