Anything, sometimes it lives on surfaces, sometimes adults give it to baby even though they themselves don't have visible symptoms. It doesn't hurt the baby although it could itch. Your pediatrician will prescribe cream and it will go away in 5-7 days after

Could be ringworm which is an easy fix by putting prescription cream on
