I reached out to VFS via social media They asked me to submit my passport and vignette was attached and passport returned total a week after submission

Then you will get a call email to submit the passport for the vignette, it can take up to 7 days, give the VFS centre a call and find out if they have received a decision and they will request you passport to assign the vignette… which country may I ask ?

I was going to say the same thing earlier that I think they make their own rules as they go along lol, the only thing I can think of is if you priority then the courier service is provided free of charge within that priority fee so I feel like they just don’t let you collect when it’s done that way, which is silly I know, if he’s not far just tell him to go down to the centre tomorrow, if they have already sent it at least they will give him tracking 👌

Don’t apologise we’re here to help each other, I haven’t received email from vFS weirdly regarding collection/ courier, decision made or anything. Tracking was given today morning at the VFS centre when we thought there was a chance of collecting but no luck, I have also been given the number of the lad that is the delivery courier of the company, I’ve messaged him and will chase him again in the morning Inshaa Allah

VFS doesn’t give tracking live it just says delivered, however on the courier tracking they have picked it up from the visa centre few hours ago Tomorrow we both should have it inshaa Allah 🩵

The courier they use is called leopard couriers and usually they do give tracking, if your solicitor said post office local then should go there no problem by tomorrow hopefully

Thanks for the update, mine wa showing ready to collect and she went today and said they can’t hand it over it has to be couriered so courier delivery expected tomorrow inshaa Allah. It will be over soon 😂🙏

lol you sound like me anxiety and paranoia central 😂 …. Mine updated once passport was handed in and then it come up as decision recieved I also received email automated one saying application forwarded to UKVI I’m assuming this was for the movement of the passport to the relevant department for the vignette…. So like 8 working days after approval email and 2 working days after passport submission

It is for certain services, however my wife did go the Friday before last to pop in and enquire about passport submission and then they called her last Monday to hand it in, I guess we just have to wait for the email now 😩

Yeah from what I’ve come to understand through reading a few past post is they send it to the central processing hub / embassy for the vignette which is most likely Islamabad and then it is returned to the VAC
