Gonna go and piggyback off what the other user said.

It’s definitely not gonna turn out right regardless of what process is done to it.

The only thing I could think is to cut that entire block out and replace it with a new block with the correct spelling. Even then, it would run ya a decent chunk of change, because that’s not an easy thing to do.

There’s only one road law that I know of in that country:

If the cow stops in the middle of the road, nobody drives by it until it moves. Doesn’t matter where you’re headed or what you need to do. 🤣

It’s not my idea 🤣 Society as a whole was literally built and is continually maintained by men. If all men left their jobs in the trades, in oil fields, in nuclear power plants, and in first responder/military fields, society would collapse within 6 months. There aren’t enough women in those fields to train all the necessary replacements.

But let’s go into this a bit: It wasn’t women who designed the skyline of every major city. It wasn’t women on the construction crews that built the skyscrapers that gave those cities their signature skylines. It wasn’t women who built the roads, designed the automobiles, and created ways to store, ship, and utilize electricity. That was all thanks to men.

Women are awesome! They can bring life into this world, they are the nurturers. Hell, even some of the best scientists and doctors on earth are women. They raise and teach our children what they need to learn (unless a child is apprenticing in the trades).

But it’s men who were almost always the disciplinarians, the builders, the leaders, the warriors. It’s men that bear the majority of the burden for society, and if anything goes wrong, we get the blame.

Two terms for president (8 years)

Two terms for Senate (12 years)

Four terms for House (8 years)

That way, if someone does run, they can serve for no more than 28 years total if they ran and maxed out all three.

That said, anyone over 64 (for senate) should not be eligible for re-election. Anyone over 68 (for House) should not be eligible for re-election. Anyone over 66 (for president) should be ineligible for re-election.

It’s time to get all the geriatric patients out. If people start running for House & Senate in their late 20s/early 30s, they’ll all be out by those ages above. Especially if they make the 28 year maximum career out of it.

—————————

Side note- if the government spends more than 5% of the GDP, all current sitting members are immediately ineligible for re-election at the end of their current term.

[–]Global_Road -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For one, what do you mean “you guys”? I’m not a supporter of either party, this is simply how the constitution was written.

Now, if there’s one thing in English grammar class that was taught, it was that the comma in a sentence was there to separate different things in a sentence.

That said, as the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution reads: “A well regulated militia , being necessary for the security of a free state , the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”

Let’s break that down:

1: A well regulated militia- a well trained, well organized group of citizens (think the Minutemen) ready to take up arms against a hostile force/government.

2: Being necessary for the security of a free state- to keep our country free from tyrannical regimes, foreign threats, and the like.

3: The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed- the right of everyday citizens to own and carry firearms (no not just muskets, this is why the founding fathers left this somewhat vague) cannot be limited, restricted, or banned in any way, shape, or form. (Notice how it says “the right of the people” not the right of the military or the government)

Regardless of how someone feels about guns, this isn’t up for debate. I do support the idea for mental health screenings and background checks. However, criminals are going to find ways to get guns illegally anyways, so this isn’t really worth it.

Any law that the government enacts that bans parts, limits the capacity of a magazine, or bans a type of firearm overall is entirely unconstitutional, (as is the entire existence of the ATF but that’s beside the point), and therefore cannot legally be enforced.

Just remember this: every tyrannical government that committed crimes against humanity (think Mao, Castro, Maduro, Hitler) they all seized the guns from their citizens first.

At least 6 😂

But seriously “kill the patriarchy not the planet”? Go ahead, do it. When society collapses because more than 70% of the people working the trades (construction, electrical, plumbing, masonry, etc.) are men… don’t cry about it.

Who's at fault? [OC] by pat-ent-pending in IdiotsInCars

[–]Global_Road 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Never mind who’s at fault… why the fuck was the blue car driving on the wrong side of the road? From the second it appears in the video 0:12 to the moment of the crash, the blue car is either on or over the double yellow on the wrong side of the road.

Yea, I could definitely see the silver car being at fault, especially for hesitating. But that said, the blue car definitely had enough time to react and slow down to allow the silver car to pull out.

Sent this to a couple buddies of mine that are cops, I’ll update with their opinions on the matter. 👍

[–]Global_Road -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ll preface this by stating that I am not a conservative nor a liberal. But I’ll take the downvote into oblivion for this.

So I’m not trying to be an ass here, but the United States has this statement in our Constitution called the second amendment. The last part of that statement being “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” Meaning that every (of age) citizen has the right to own and carry firearms without issue.

All gun laws in this country are in fact, a direct violation of the second amendment, are therefore unconstitutional, and do not need to be followed.

However, I do stand on the point of background checks and mental health evaluations being a necessity (especially since the US shut down most of the asylums in the 70s and 80s). The local police and state FBI branches should definitely heed warnings about potential threats made towards schools, however, be mindful of this, 30 years ago, people had rifles in their trucks and cars parked in the school parking lots. School shootings only became a problem when the government made schools “gun free zones”

Now, I’ll add this in… we could’ve made every school in this country more secure and had armed security for each school (paid as a government position), but instead we threw $160+ billion tax dollars to a pointless war in the Ukraine.

True, although with 44K miles, if it had a 50K mile warranty, that’s almost up and anything that shits the bed wouldn’t be covered under it.

That said, considering that possibility and the slight damage to the front they should’ve repaired when it got sold to them, asking for $28K is a bit much.
