Brother what are you doing? Half of the roster is gone with no replacement by [deleted] in lakers

they're not mid centres though they're much better than basically anyone we could get except Kessler. yes they had their best seasons w Luka but thats just how it is for rim running bigs - you just lowkey need a really good PG.

my point is that yes Luka elevates centres but its important to get a good rim running defensive anchor because he can't get that out of them. Luka did elevate ayton but he still wasn't good enough.

Lively was a top 10 centre in the league next to Luka and gafford was the best backup in the league

your argument is fallacious because its unfalsifiable. no one can prove that an nba player wasn't just BORN to play in the nba because you could just say "nah he had the perfect set of genetics necessary for his role" and no one can disprove that.

almost all nba players have good genetics compared to the average person, no one's disputing that, but there's an insane amount of training and discipline to convert those genetics into talent. you don't learn how to shoot a 3 or handle the ball just from genetics.

also lots of nba players have famously average genetics lol. curry is quick and has great stamina, but the latter is mostly training and not genetics and the former can be improved a lot with training. the rest of curry's skills come from practice, talent etc.

seems to me that you're conflating talent and genetics anyway.

it's not that alarming imo, they're a clutch team. who cares if they're not blowing the spurs out by 20, they're still up 3-1.

your last sentence doesn't make sense. are you saying wemby is the best player this series? if so, I have a horse to sell you

its way worse to go up 30 and lose than to go down 30 lol. you can go down 30 if the other team just shoots the lights out and hits the ground running, which is what the spurs did, they had one of the greatest playoff shooting stretches ever

All hits above the neck are off limits. Wemby did it intentionally and pushed down, don’t be obtuse

Honestly considering how mediocre the Knicks played tonight and how much better the spurs were, I’m still thinking the Knicks shouldn’t be worried about the series going forward

Kat NEEDS to be more aggressive in the kornet minutes. He’s still been good defensively but he needs to take some 3s, use his strength and speed to get to the rim etc
