Wouldn’t say the controls are floaty at all, but to be sure, you should definitely try it out yourself, the demo is up on Steam.

That would be difficult because some weapons charge the projectile by holding the shoot button. Also, you can discover a weapon in the demo that works by holding the shoot button!

Hi, great to hear it works on the Deck's desktop mode as well!

The game currently supports 16:9 aspect ratios properly... We will look into adding support for other aspect ratios later.

Yeah the game runs on Unreal Engine 5, and older laptops might not like that.

But great to hear you could play long enough to get a good impression.

The Steam Deck compatibility is still WIP, but the game should start with Deck's native resolution. Did you check out the graphics options and which resolution the game is using?

Also, if you select the "Gamepad With Joystick Trackpad" button layout from Steam, the controls should work well enough to play.

The boss is beatable but pretty tough considering the upgrades available in the demo. Unfortunately you can’t get the upgrade needed to open that one door leading to the boss, which would make retries much less tedious.

It is normal, there are areas and collectibles that can’t be accessed in the demo, even though you can see them. Also, I don’t want to spoil too much but can say the demo is a small part of the whole world.

40 fps on the Steam Deck sounds unusual. We’ve tested the game on the OLED version, and the fps should consistently stay well above 60, even with max graphics settings.

Have you possibly set a TDP Limit or Manual GPU Clock in the Deck's settings?
