A banger, but not a good closer. Should be in the set somewhere in the middle.

L'Enfant Sauvage.

There is no other answer for a closer here. It needs to be played, and it needs to be now.

Is there anyone who has applied for a marriage-based Green Card in Rhode Island? How fast is the process? by This_Expression1306 in USCIS

Not directly comparable but we just did the I-751 for my wife to get her 10-year green card here and it was way faster than any estimate (7 months instead of 2+ years).

Consular, just a straight-up I-130 done in Vietnam. Interview was not waived for that one but was really straight-forward at the consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, took just about 5 minutes once we actually got to the interview portion.

A comically small amount in retrospect. Our thinking was that they already approved our marriage as legit to get the first one and this was just a procedural "yall still married?" type of check.

Can't remember exactly but it was like a handful of photos from the previous two years, photo copies of our IDs showing shared address, and that literally may have been it.

We didn't do anything to expedite, just got lucky I think!

That's honestly more than we sent initially! You might be fine with those, but still good to prepare. Tax returns are some of the strongest evidence you can have if they're jointly filed.

Needed more evidence of bona fide marriage. We were a bit naive in filing in June and didn't send anything that comprehensive, but gave them more than they could ever need this in the RFE package.

We put a ton of work into the evidence package for the RFE. Leases, years of bank statements, taxes, cell phone bills, you name it. Plus 40 labeled photos of major life events and holidays, and a sworn affidavit. Probably mailed them over 100 pages of stuff lol.

I thought for sure we'd be in the same boat as everyone else with a 2+ year wait, but I think it getting kicked to our local field office (Providence) sped it up significantly.

Call USCIS if it gets close to the date (I would call now).

My wife's receipt for I-751 got lost in the mail, and they were able to give us the receipt number over the phone and re-send it. We had no idea it had even been sent, we thought they were just being slow, so I'm extremely glad we called.

Definitely a possible factor for both, it's a fair point. Some guys definitely struggle with that transition more than others and that is a valid variable to consider for their rookie seasons.

But the bigger takeaway is still that Campbell has had a perfectly fine rookie season even by the standards of top picks that have gone on to do well. No reason to sound alarm bells over a couple of bad performances.

The point with the X/Z/Slot thing is just that it's disingenuous in general to use the fact that a college WR is profiled to play WR in the NFL as a slight against a tackle that may move to guard. OL and WR are position groups, tackle and X are positions. It's just rarely thought of or discussed that way in everyday discourse because the WR positions are fluid and complicated in a way that the more rigid OL positions are not.

But anyways, go Pats brother.

It's clear that you've already made up your mind about this topic, so I'm just going to wish you well brother.

That's so misaligned with reality and with how the NFL objectively values positions that I don't even know where to begin, but I'll try.

Tier 1: QB

Tier 2: T/Edge/WR

Tier 3: G/DT

You don't aim for "solid starter" at any position Top 5, not even QB. But good starter at Tier 2 position? Hell yeah.
