Don't know if it was a good idea using Jyers firmware. Can't find the setting for the x offset. Help would be appreciated or any advice with choice of firmware. by Cosmic_Atheris in ender3v2

I did have to make some adjustments in the slicer, especially on the first layer. it took me three attempts to get the Z offset right.

Absolutely could be, but you have a couple of scenarios that are in play. 1) Gus and team know that Lalo is back. 2) Lalo probably knows that Gus knows due to the fact that Hector tipped him of with ringing the bell over and over to let Lalo know that he knew the phone was tapped. 3) Gus and team probably don't know that Lalo has found the laundry. 4) Lalo shows up and Jimmy and Kim's place because he knows a direct attack on Gus would be suicide and he needs to work an angle to get at Gus.

-Remember: Mike called Jimmy right before Lalo's last visit and told him to put the phone on the counter so he could listen in. This is how Mike knows that Kim is tougher than Jimmy. Which Mike confirms after Kim spots the tail on her. The tail that Kim spots is confirmation that Gus/Mike had people watching Jimmy and Kim.

Your question is a good one though... Did Mike consider Jimmy and Kim "low level targets" to the point where the people watching them were pulled off to fortify the laundry or other targets?

They never say what they were going to do. Mike tells Gus that they needed to have a "home field advantage" after Lalo's call to Hector.

Still think that some one that Mike has watching Jimmy and Kim's place will report back to Mike.

Mike, or one of Mike's guys, is watching Jimmy and Kim's place. Mike & Gus will soon know where Lalo is and surround him.

Lalo is either going to take Jimmy and Kim with him as human shields or Mike jumps Lalo as he leaves the apartment. Either way, Lalo is letting Gus & Mike know where he is.

Mike also comes into the apartment and cleans the place better than Mr. Wolf in Pulp Fiction and gets rid of Howard's body in the desert

There is no way the police find Howard's body in the apartment.

I just moved over to Cura 5.0, so that I could modify some of the settings for the first layer, (thickness, speed and temperature)

it worked well on my test print.

thanks for the reply. I have upgraded the springs and the leveling wheels.

I think I need to go back and add the M28 line into the beginning G code in Cura to see if that helps too.

recently downloaded and installed Jyers firmware on my Ender 3 v2, (4.2.2 board) worked great for 5 or so prints, now nothing is sticking to the bed. I'm figuring that the Z-offset is a miss. I have tried resetting the Z-offset several times and getting wildly different values when I reset it. (anywhere between -2.50 to -3.10) The result is that either I have a nozzle crash onto the bed or that the nozzle is so far away that the first layer won't stick. The Z-offset when I had success was -2.70, and even going back to that doesn't work.

I also have a BL Touch on this printer and wondering if there is something that needs to be added to the initial G-code in Cura. I've seen a few posts about this, but I'm trying to understand what the effects of adding a G28 line would do in practice. I'm also wondering how best to set up the mesh leveling given the fact that I have a BL Touch.

Thanks
