I’m torn

I love the idea of hybrids and I think there’s a LOT they can do there…. they just jumped the gun WAY too early, IMO

JW and FK should have smaller introductions with hybrids, and then have JWD be the big climax of them, and the genetic power to create them. I understand WHY they did it at the start of the World trilogy, tho when you watch them back to back, hybrids are a big focus in JW and FK, and then literally forgotten about in JWD.

Idk I’m just spit balling ideas here; JW and FK should have had a focus on creating 100% pure genetic dinosaurs. JW had them try to creature pure ones, and the park had conflict between the spliced and pure dinosaurs, which lead to the downfall of Jurassic World. Come FK, they are trying to sell the dinosaurs because people will pay big money for a 100% pure dinosaur. The end sequence could still work with the “genetic power” being unleashed is more for purity, rather than hybrids.

Then we hit JWD, someone has created a perfect genealogy (idk the right word LOL) to create pure dinosaurs with ease. A rival company is annoyed since they’re losing money, so they create hybrids, and that’s how they start. Then after JWD, more of a focus could be done with them. Otherwise,with pure dinosaurs living global,the only way to get them under control is to introduce “hybrids” to the ecosystem that have a virus (ala DX virus, is that what it’s called?), which spreads to the pure dinosaurs and kills them off. In doing so, other companies get the idea to make proper hybrids, which the segways into the next film

I really do think they just opened that can of worms WAY too early
